Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Power Distribution Equipment Location: Minneapolis, MN Salary: Up to $160,000 per annum A growing engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of low and medium voltage power distribution equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background in switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, or related electrical infrastructure products. Key Responsibilities Design mechanical structures and bussing for LV/MV switchgear assemblies Review customer specifications and develop compliant engineering solutions Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PDM tools for 3D design and documentation Support manufacturing, testing, installation, and project execution activities Drive design standardization, quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers Requirements 7+ years' experience designing LV/MV switchgear, switchboards, or panelboards Strong experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling tools Knowledge of fabrication, manufacturing, and electrical power distribution equipment Proven project coordination and customer-facing experience Location: On-site If you're interested in working on complex engineered products within a collaborative and technically driven environment, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
