Mechanical Engineer – Advanced SystemsMy client, who are a high-tech energy company developing next-generation accelerator systems, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of critical components for high-reliability ion source and beamline systems.Key Responsibilities:Design and optimize mechanical components (housing, cooling, supports).Conduct thermal and structural analysis for system reliability.Support fabrication, assembly, and testing processes.Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and manufacturing standards.Provide hands-on support during installation and commissioning.Document designs and prepare technical reports.Required Qualifications:Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-reliability systems.Skilled in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS).Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.Team player with cross-disciplinary collaboration experience.Preferred Experience:Background in accelerator systems or ion source components.Thermal optimization and EMC standards familiarity (e.g., IEC 61000).Knowledge of ASME/ISO technical drawing standards.
