Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Oro Valley, AZ (1st shift)

Mechanical engineering role focused on aerospace electronic component design and packaging.

Key Skills:

• Advanced Mechanical Engineering experience (8+ years)
• SolidWorks (3D CAD) and 2D drafting
• FEA (preferably ANSYS) – structural & thermal analysis
• Aerospace standards knowledge (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP) – plus
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Responsibilities:

• Design electronic packaging for aerospace hardware
• Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and assembly docs
• Perform weight analysis, prototyping, and testing
• Conduct FEA and technical reporting
• Lead design reviews, risk analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA)
• Support engineering change orders and process improvements
• Mentor junior engineers and support site engineering strategy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 8+ years relevant experience
• Strong CAD, FEA, and mechanical design background
• Available for flexible shifts, overtime as needed
