Senior Medical WriterSenior Medical Writers provide clinically and scientifically accurate insight and is responsible for the development of promotional medical education content for health care providers (HCP) peer-to-peer communications.Responsibilities:Support multiple-brand projects towards development of educational/commercial materialsWork with Account and Program Directors on all accounts to provide clinical and scientific insightDevelop and assure scientific accuracy of manuscripts for publication and educational materials for healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical sales representativesProvide accurate hands-on writing, editing, and/or review of medical/clinical-focused contentA range of promotional education content (eg, slide presentation, clinical booklets/pamphlets, handouts, case studies)Scientific manuscripts for publications in peer-reviewed journals (involve working closely with faculty to develop outlines/drafts, responding to reviewers' comments, etc)Abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for clinical/medical conferences and congressesAdvisory board content (eg, slide presentations) and post-meeting reports (eg, topline/executive summary)Supporting materials such as outlines, speaker notes, moderator guides, meeting transcriptsPrepare references and annotations of all content for internal fact-checkers and client medical/regulatory/legal reviewAssist the team to address clinical/scientific comments/issues from the reviewersConduct research and review of up-to-date scientific/research/clinical literature as well as appropriate product materials to support educational and promotional claims in content developmentSupport Medical Director to facilitate speakers' training on newly developed content, as well as supporting slide review sessions to prepare faculty for content presentationAttend conferences/congresses and create summary report of important scientific/clinical data and informationPresent promotional materials to the client's review committee, and make recommendations for proposed directions and/or new approaches and strategiesQualifications:Education: Advanced degreeRequirements:2+ years related pharmaceutical experience, preferably in the medical education industryExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdditional Requirements: Travel may be required.Additional Information:Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Diffrence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
