Salary is 130k to 155kSeeking an experienced Network Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience and expert knowledge in network operations and core network infrastructure implementation in both data center and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, as well as a strong background in network security solutions.Responsibilities:Implement, maintain, and optimize core network infrastructure in both data center and enterprise environments.Configure and manage Layer 2 technologies including STP, LACP, and vPC to ensure high availability and efficient data transmission.Configure and maintain Layer 3 routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, vRF, and route redistribution for optimal routing performance.Implement and manage network security technologies including firewalls, ACLs, IPSec VPNs, and NAT on firewalls to protect enterprise networks.Provide hands-on support for Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus/Catalyst switches and Cisco ASA firewalls, ensuring efficient and secure network operations.Implement DMZ segmentation for enhanced security and optimal performance across network segments.Qualifications:5+ years of industry experience in network operations and core infrastructure implementation.Strong knowledge and experience with Layer 2 (STP, LACP, vPC) and Layer 3 (EIGRP/OSPF, BGP, vRF, route redistribution) technologies.Proficient in network security solutions, including firewalls, ACLs, IPSec VPNs, and NAT.Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus/Catalyst switches and Cisco ASA Firewalls.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.Preferred:Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) would be advantageous.Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
