SummaryJob Description SummaryWe are searching for a self-driven and highly motivated Middleware Developer!You will be part of the IT Middleware development team and will provide support to Scoot's middleware.You will work closely with stakeholders such as the Ground Ops team to deliver, enhance and maintain API services for applications.ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionPlan, design, conduct analysis and will be involved in enhancing and maintaining Scoot’s Operations Middleware or Scoot’s Centralized MiddlewareTechnical support for Scoot’s Operations Middleware or Scoot’s Centralized MiddlewareCollect, calculate, and check information from various sources to devise solutions, design systems, and implement system processesConduct system troubleshooting & investigation to resolve any incidents reportedCooperate and communicate well with other personnel across departments to explain and assist in the integration of information management and data communication systemsRecommend other methods and technologies derived from the gathered data to maximise the efficiency of project implementationAnalyse, create, document, and maintain IT business knowledge processes and proceduresFollow and comply with SDLC or AGILE methodologyMaintain and implement high quality changes while applying IT development standards and practicesCollaborate with Quality Assurance Testing and Product Owners to review application functionality and test resultsApply development team’s existing standards for programming, naming, security & performanceProvide accurate and timely estimates for assigned work and documentation for all completed work assignmentsWrite comprehensive and efficient unit testsAssist peers with detailed program analysis & design for assigned workMeeting SLA resolved & response and achieve KPIsAdopt Agile methodology to achieve timely and quality deliverablesRequirementsDegree in Computer Science/IT related or Diploma in Computer Science/IT with a relevant number of experiencesAt least 2 years of working experience as a Middleware DeveloperAt least 2 years of working experience developing and maintaining APIsGood verbal and written communicationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsGood fundamentals in application/software developmentMust be proficient in C# .Net and .Net Core A solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentalsHands on experience with SQL databaseExperience with AWS Services (EC2, VPC, SNS, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, etc)Working experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesTeam oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentHaving airline knowledge is an advantageHaving Navitaire NewSkies knowledge is an advantage
