We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to be our first in-house product designer, to help design and shape our innovative B2B enterprise application. You will play a key role in driving our product development efforts by conducting user research, creating wireframes, and designing visually compelling and easy-to-use interfaces. As the first designer on our team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our product and contribute to the company's growth. What you'll do: Gather user requirements, write PRDs (product requirement documents), generate LOFI/HIFI designs, directly support engineers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and user needs Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify areas for improvement Develop user personas, user flows, and journey maps to inform design decisions Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces with a focus on usability and user experience Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing Work closely with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of designs Utilize Figma to design interfaces, collaborating with the team Establish and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards Continuously stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field 4+ years of experience in product design, preferably in B2B enterprise software Proven experience in user research, wireframing, and UI design Experience in supply chain preferred, open to fintech and cybersecurity Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and successful projects Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment Strong communication skills and ability to present and articulate design decisions A passion for problem-solving, innovation, and a user-centered design approach What will make you stand out: You're located in NYC and excited about working together in person. Prior experience in the supply chain industry. You've been Designer #1 in the past What we offer: Competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.
