Senior Product Manager Technical – External Services, Amazon Aurora

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager Technical to build hyper‑scale database services in the cloud, focusing on Amazon Aurora, a MySQL and PostgreSQL‑compatible relational database engine. The role will drive the user experience from provisioning to scaling, applying patches, and leveraging generative AI to improve query execution.
You will define product requirements and champion customer needs, working with customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and articulate new capabilities through business‑requirements documents.
We are looking for an experienced product leader with strong business judgment, technical expertise in database or cloud services, and proven cross‑functional team leadership. Candidates should be comfortable tackling ambiguous, high‑impact projects and be able to execute strategically and tactically.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience
4+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related)
Experience delivering large‑scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through GTM
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with database, data warehouse or data lake solutions
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
USA, CA, East Palo Alto – $175,000.00 – $236,800.00 USD annually.
