They are seeking a hands-on Senior Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations while staying actively engaged on the production floor.This is a true player-coach role—leading through people, driving accountability, and utilizing Lean methodologies to improve performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.What You’ll DoLead day-to-day production operations across wire harness and cable assembly linesDrive a “results through people” culture by developing Supervisors, Team Leads, and production teamsMaintain strong floor presence (Gemba)—solving problems in real timeEnsure performance across first-pass yield, defect rates, and reworkOwn production scheduling and throughput, ensuring on-time delivery targets are metBalance labor across lines, minimize downtime, and remove bottlenecksDrive Lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, 5 Whys, PDCA)Utilize Pareto analysis and KPI data to prioritize improvementsLead daily production meetings to align teams and drive executionPartner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and MaintenanceOptimize staffing, cross-training, and workforce developmentWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience3+ years in a senior production or plant-level leadership roleExperience in wire harness, cable assembly, or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing strongly preferredProven ability to develop teams and drive accountability on the floorStrong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvementExperience using data-driven decision making (KPIs, Pareto, root cause analysis)Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systemsBachelor’s degree preferredBilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) is a plusWhy This RoleHigh-impact leadership role with strong visibility on the floorOpportunity to shape production performance and team cultureFast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment
