The VHA Survey of Veteran Enrollees’ Health and Utilization of Health Care (Survey of Enrollees) began in 1999 as a key input for the Enrollee Health Care Projection Model. It is an annual survey that gathers information from enrolled Veterans regarding their perceived health status, experiences with health services, current and anticipated future health care usage, insurance coverage, access to telehealth, and demographic characteristics. Participation remains voluntary. The data collected has supported projections of future health care utilization and informed VHA leadership in planning for the evolved needs of the Veteran population. This information is being collected in accordance with section 3507 of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to help with this potential upcoming project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the healthcare program.
  • Assess the quality of current and future VHA programs to determine ways to improve programs.
  • Measure success, outcomes, and improvement programs. In some instances, the Program Analyst shall assist VHA in
  • Execute program operations to meet the previously established goals and objectives
  • Provide input on the program evaluation and improvement of the organization and management of projects and programs to increase productivity/program performance.
  • Identify program resources and assist in the development of program reports. The Senior Program Analyst shall have proven, extensive experience in a large-scale integrated Health Care System and with substantive programs focused on Veterans health care and outreach, preferred.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 8 years experience
    • Proven, extensive experience in a large-scale integrated Health Care System
    • Substantive programs focused on Veterans healthcare and outreach HIGHLY PREFERRED
    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
