Senior Program Manager, Strategic Project Development, TransmissionEversource is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Strategic Project Development, Transmission located in Westwood, MA.You will be responsible for advancing major and strategic projects throughout Transmission by implementing cross-functional leadership throughout the company and executing on the Capital Plan while adhering to core business synergies.The role will include development of comprehensive strategies for advancing strategic projects, including internal analytics, external communications and stakeholder relationship building in collaboration with other teams to support the company's role as the leading provider of Transmission. Will be expected to work collaboratively and coordinate with all relevant departments within the company including System Planning, Engineering, Siting, Outreach, Regulatory, Legal and Project Management.Essential Functions:Supports development and documentation of company policies related to development and execution of strategic transmission projects addressing items such a feasibility, planning, siting, permitting, construction, etc.Maintains familiarity with current and upcoming policies and programs that could facilitate Transmission DevelopmentCoordinates discussions to advance Major Transmission ProjectsWorks with the Director to develop metrics by which to evaluate the success of transmission projects and continue to track the progress.Facilitates discussions with key stakeholders to assure alignment and key information exchange; focuses on collaboration internally and externallyDevelops project schedules and budgets in the conceptual phase prior to executionInteracts regularly with Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Affairs, and Energy Efficiency to develop concept planAssists with representing Eversource Transmission on committees, groups, associations, or other efforts consistent with their ProjectsDevelops business case to pursue concepts or unique strategiesCoordinates with various business units to identify and advance projects and company initiativesRepresents Eversource Transmission at public meetings, regulatory hearings, town hall meetings and any special meetings that may occurAssists as needed for any stakeholder outreach meetings and discussionsEngages with internal stakeholders to solicit input and involvement as needed and to provide education on Strategic Project DevelopmentEnsures that all strategic solutions are vetted in a manner consistent with the company's safety and procurement policies and programsTechnical Knowledge/Skills:Ability to develop and present reports within the organization.Strong computer and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to make decisions in a timely manner.Project management experience requiredAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences internally and externallyEducation:Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (i.e., engineering, environmental), business discipline, related degree, or equivalent experienceMasters, law, or other related advanced degree desirableExperience:Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience, including successful project developmentExperience developing competitive infrastructure projects and knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems preferredLicenses & Certifications:Valid Driver's license is requiredWorking Conditions:Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.Our Hybrid schedule are first 90 days in the officeCompensation & Benefits:Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The base salary range for this position is $133,170.00 to $147,970.00 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience.
