Job Description
Position: Project Manager (Civil Construction / Land Development)
Location: Stark, FLorida
We’re partnered with a highly successful, family-oriented developer in a competitive market to identify a Project Manager with a strong civil construction background. This role focuses on horizontal development—from infrastructure through paving—supporting both single-family and select multifamily projects.
This is an in-office position (no hybrid) with regular field involvement, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and close to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects from initial site work (land clearing) through infrastructure and paving
- Manage timelines, budgets, and project execution across multiple developments
- Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with contractors, municipalities, and internal teams
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Maintain strong organization across multiple active job sites
- Visit job sites regularly (at least once per week)
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project management within civil construction or land development
- Strong understanding of horizontal development (infrastructure through paving)
- Experience with permitting, inspections, and full development lifecycle
- Background working with or alongside land developers preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- “Boots on the ground” mentality—comfortable being in the field
- Civil background required (engineering degree or PE license not required)
Note: Candidates with vertical/building construction-only experience will not be a fit for this role.
