Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager/Operations Manager will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role will also involve coordinating with various stakeholders, leading project teams, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing turnkey projects and site civil operations.
- Strong knowledge of utilities, stormwater management, paving, and striping.
- Familiarity with TxDOT and DOT regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
