Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Senior Project Manager. This is a full-time role based in Wisconsin within a hybrid work environment with our premier client!
The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing complex, enterprise-level projects across investment management, operations, technology, data management, finance, and HR. This position partners closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver projects that drive organizational efficiency, innovation, and strong investment outcomes.
What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
5+ years of project management experience within an investment management organization. Enterprise PMs with INVESTMENT MGMT industry experience (specialized lifecycle / implementations + asset-class knowledge)
Experience/knowledge with investment platforms such as Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, Geneva, Eagle, Bloomberg AIM implementing complex projects and modern software/platform solutions in the investment ecosystem.
Strong communication skills with proven ability to build trust and meaningful relationships at all levels.
Ability to learn quickly, effectively adapt, and navigate evolving business priorities.
Solid understanding of investment operations, workflows, and systems across key asset classes.
Detailed knowledge of multiple investment / security types and their role in portfolio strategies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) are a plus.
What You Will Do
Lead full project lifecycle activities from scope definition to planning, execution, and delivery.
Drive project completion, proactively resolve issues, and ensure intended business outcomes are realized.
Build and organize project teams; assign and manage workloads to ensure accountability.
Monitor tasks, timelines, dependencies, risks, and budget considerations.
Provide clear and consistent communication to project teams, stakeholders, senior leadership, and broader organizational audiences.
Prepare high-quality presentations, project documentation, and executive-level communications.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to gather requirements, secure commitment, gain alignment, and support decision-making.
Ensure successful implementation through appropriate training, testing, and change management approaches.
Foster collaboration and encourage open communication across diverse perspectives.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
