Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager or a Program Manager, you need to oversee and coordinate different related projects in a company to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Your main duties include organizing various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects, developing program and project budgets. You need to have strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage and inspire teams towards delivering the desired results.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Planning and defining the scope of the program and its individual projects
- Preparing detailed Program level plans, risk assessments and tracking progress. Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Reporting program status and escalating issues to upper management as needed
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
Skills:
- 15+ years of relevant experience in upper-management role, preferably in Program Management. Should have Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
- Experience managing Stakeholders, Risk Management and mitigation
- Working knowledge on Customer Experience Management, Cut over strategies
- Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques, Value Delivered and Key metrics
- Experience leading RFP / RFI work
