Looking for a hybrid/remote opportunity with strong work-life balance? This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to be part of a growing team. An established and expanding civil construction firm is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale civil and public infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final completion. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who understands both the field and office side of construction operations. The right candidate will be responsible for estimating, budgeting, project execution, subcontractor coordination, and overall project profitability. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of projects, make decisions confidently, and keep jobs moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from initial bid and estimating through project completion Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for civil scopes, including: Site development Underground utilities Concrete work Asphalt and paving Lead public works, DOT, and municipal construction projects Monitor project schedules, timelines, and subcontractor performance Oversee change orders, billing, contract administration, and project documentation Track budgets, labor costs, and overall financial performance of each project Work closely with owners, engineers, inspectors, and internal field teams Ensure all work meets DOT specifications, safety standards, and prevailing wage compliance Qualifications Strong background in heavy civil or site development construction Prior experience managing DOT, municipal, or public works projects Knowledge of: Sewer and water infrastructure Earthmoving and grading Concrete installation Roadwork and paving operations Proven ability to complete takeoffs and prepare project estimates Experience managing several active projects at the same time Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and make sound project decisions Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary based on experience Bonus opportunities tied to performance Company‑100% sponsored medical and dental coverage for employees 401(k) program Paid vacation and time off Open to relocation candidates with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
