Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager to perform as Program Manager within our company having expertise overseeing government projects, as well as contributing to growth of NuvoLogic. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of NuvoLogic projects of varying size and complexity. The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients often located in multiple locations to meet project objectives . As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of deliverables, acting as a primary liaison between the client and the project team, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Provide effective leadership and oversight to a team of consultants, analysts, and subcontractors. 
  • Guide business analysis, SOP creation, and process improvements necessary for project delivery. 
  • Maintain and manage relationships with all client stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for projects.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the program lifecycle. 
  • Ensure quality standards and work performance on all tasks and projects; plan, organize, and oversee work efforts; assign resources; manage personnel; and monitor overall project and contract performance. 
  • Utilize standard project and program management practices and methodologies to reliably produce expected contract outcomes. 
  • Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources. 
  • Mentor and develop junior staff and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution. 
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers within the program, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
  • Implement and maintain quality standards across all projects, ensuring that deliverables meet company expectations.
  • Monitor the performance of program teams, providing feedback and development opportunities as needed.
  • Lead and facilitate proposal writing and contribute to additional business development opportunities. 
  • Contribute to the internal development of NuvoLogic, assisting with the implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools, including management of third-party tools/vendors, as needed. 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable. 
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in project management, leading the delivery projects from initiation to completion. 
  • 7+ years proven experience in managing government contracts and projects. 
  • Strong knowledge of government regulations, compliance standards, and procurement processes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies to overcome challenges. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools 
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, a plus 

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and address project issues proactively. 
  • Leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding project team members.
