We’re looking for a Senior Property Accountant with 3–5 years of hands-on real estate accounting experience to join our fantastic team. This isn’t just another accounting role, it's a unique opportunity to dive deep into the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of a growing real estate portfolio. You'll work directly with the CFO and ownership team, playing a pivotal role in guiding financial performance and shaping our future. Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle property accounting for both owned and third-party managed assets Review and validate financial reports submitted by property managers Handle monthly and quarterly reporting, including CAM reconciliations and operating expense tracking Oversee general ledger activity—journal entries, reconciliations, accruals Analyze lease terms with a focus on CAM charges and reimbursement clauses Partner with property managers to develop and monitor annual budgets Conduct budget-to-actual comparisons and variance analysis across the portfolio Assist with cash flow forecasting and property-level financial modeling Support acquisitions, underwriting, and due diligence efforts Prepare financial documentation for refinancing and lender reporting Act as the primary point of contact for all property-level financial matters What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of property accounting experience (commercial or multi-tenant preferred) In-depth knowledge of CAM reconciliations and triple net lease structures Strong Excel skills; experience with property/accounting software a plus Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally Ability to thrive in a small, agile environment where you wear multiple hats Who You Are: A self-starter who takes ownership and drives results Detail-oriented and analytical, but also adaptable and resourceful Collaborative by nature, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting Eager to grow with a company that values innovation and initiative Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at RemX | The Workforce Experts by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance 401(k) Get notified about new Property Accountant jobs in Hollywood, FL .
