Senior Python Engineer

To enhance critical integrations within the product, the remote contract Senior Python Engineer will take ownership of backend features, design and maintain scalable services using Python and Django, and build integrations with external systems such as KYC and payment partners. Key responsibilities Take full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation and production support Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django Build and maintain integrations with external systems, including KYC, geolocation, and payment partners Required qualifications At least 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language Proven experience integrating third-party APIs, particularly in payments and KYC integrations Experience with observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting production integrations Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and concurrency Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions
