Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer – Accessibility Testing Experience: 8–12 Years Location: Seattle - Washington Employment Type: [Full-Time/Contract] Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java Automation and ADA/WCAG Accessibility Testing to lead end-to-end quality assurance efforts across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test strategy, automation, API testing, and accessibility compliance while working in Agile environments. This role requires a hands‑on QA professional who can drive quality initiatives, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of accessible, high‑quality software. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes for enterprise applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium . Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across web applications and APIs. Develop and execute UI automation and API automation test suites using REST Assured and Postman . Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.1 standards using NVDA and JAWS screen readers. Validate application functionality, usability, performance, and security across multiple platforms. Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Identify, log, track, and manage defects using JIRA and ALM , ensuring timely resolution. Mentor and guide QA team members by promoting automation best practices and improving testing processes. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support continuous testing. Perform backend data validation using SQL and manage source code using Git . Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Continuously evaluate emerging testing tools, accessibility standards, and automation frameworks to improve QA efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications 8–12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. Strong experience in End-to-End Testing across enterprise applications. Expertise in Test Strategy , Test Planning , and Test Execution . Hands‑on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver for UI Automation. Experience in API Automation using REST Assured and Postman . Strong expertise in Accessibility Testing and ADA/WCAG 2.1 compliance. Hands‑on experience using accessibility tools such as NVDA and JAWS . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle management using JIRA and ALM . Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins . Good knowledge of SQL for database validation. Experience using Git for version control. Excellent analytical, communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain. Experience with performance or security testing. Knowledge of modern test automation frameworks and best practices. Experience mentoring QA engineers and leading testing initiatives.
