Quality Control Analyst SeniorThe Quality Control Analyst Senior supports all quality assurance and quality control activities while ensuring safety of aircraft and airworthiness requirements through various maintenance and engineering quality assurance auditing and process improvement programs. Responsible for evaluating internal controls and ensuring processes are acceptable, effective and in compliance with company policies/procedures, Quality Management System requirements, and Customer/Government requirements.Essential functions include sustaining project Quality Plan/Monthly reports/trend analysis, conducting process/product/special/additive maintenance/tool and FOD audits, performing Key Task Listing (KTL) inspections, inspecting electrical, avionics, hydraulic, power plant, flight control, pneumatic, fuels, emergency systems, structural repairs on sub-assemblies or major assemblies on all C-130 aircraft, monitoring and screening aircraft maintenance (AFTO 781 series) forms documentation entries and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) for accuracy and completeness, flight line maintenance/launch/recovery operations surveillance, quality control verifications (QCV), safety of flight inspections for Red X conditions documentation, performing in-process inspections, investigating aircraft incidents/lost tools, generating and following up on Corrective Action Requests and Root Cause and Corrective Actions, technical assistance request (TAR)/local engineering assist (LEAR), coordinating/validating local manufactured parts/tooling, reviewing USAF policy/tech data changes/alpha page inspections, validating/processing QAE Performance Assessment reports, pre-closure inspection, process improvement/configuration management initiatives, researching/completing Air Force form 22 changes for Tech Data, coordinating and supporting NQA and Government Flight Representative certification/validation visits.Supervisory responsibilities are not applicable for this role. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include being AS9100 Internal Auditor Trained, Aircraft Weight and Balance Certification, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Quality Management, and a Bachelor's Degree highly desired.Qualifications include four (4) years of C130 military aircraft maintenance experience, previous C-130 All System Red X Qualified; C-130 Exceptional/Conditional Release Qualified, three (3) years' experience in the role as Quality Engineer/Analyst/Assurance or Inspector, familiarity with Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), interpreting engineering drawings, customer specifications, and using test measurement and calibrated tools, possessing excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to work effectively with company management and customers, regarding quality issues and concerns, understanding Microsoft Office applications to include Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum, willingness to work any shift and weekends as required, understanding of AS9100 and Quality Management Systems, and ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security clearance.Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).
