Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer – Aerospace Machining (Managerial Growth Opportunity)Overview: We are looking for a driven Senior Quality Engineer to support precision aerospace component manufacturing within a machining environment. This role will focus on quality assurance processes, problem-solving, and compliance with industry standards, while preparing for a future transition into a leadership role.Key Responsibilities:Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions (RCCA) for quality issues.Manage FAIRs, NCRs, and internal audits in accordance with AS9100/AS9102 standards.Support daily quality operations on the production floor, working closely with machinists, inspectors, and engineers.Drive process improvements and ensure product compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.Mentor junior quality staff and assist the Quality Manager in strategic quality initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing quality, with strong machining background.Proficient in GD&T, FAIRs, RCCA, and AS9100 quality systems.Strong leadership potential with interest in advancing to a Quality Manager role.Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
