About the Role

As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of critical plant equipment, ensuring efficient operations while adhering to strict environmental, health, and safety standards. You’ll play a key role in developing and implementing reliability initiatives, helping to enhance productivity and reduce downtime across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct value-added preventive maintenance investigations, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to optimize equipment reliability.
  • Partner with Reliability Technicians to select and apply predictive and non-destructive testing techniques.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineering teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment.
  • Apply Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA/RCFA) techniques to solve moderately complex reliability challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance to production teams, maintenance management, and engineering personnel.
  • Drive decision-making through repair/replace, repair/design, and make/buy analyses.
  • Utilize Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) processes to improve the performance of both new and existing equipment.
  • Promote collaboration and continuous improvement using Outward Mindset Principles and Tools.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial reliability maintenance environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with rotating and stationary equipment, such as pumps, blowers, conveyors, and dust collectors.
  • Proven ability to conduct reliability activities, including RCM, RCFA, and preventive maintenance optimization.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Proficiency in analyzing reliability data to drive improvements and results.
