Senior Revenue Accountant Location: Arlington, VA | In office, Monday - Friday Responsibilities Preparation of monthly journal entries and supporting schedules and review of monthly financial results. Accounts receivable analysis and preparation of the allowance for credit losses. Assistance in a variety of aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation. Assistance with special projects within the department or as part of cross‑functional teams. Research technical accounting issues. Work with external auditors and facilitate review of the close process, account reconciliations and variance analyses. Ensure timely monthly close and accurate monthly results. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university. A track record of commitment to prior employers. 5+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 3+ years of accounting experience working in a large international public company and/or Big 4 accounting firm. Experience preparing or reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. Process implementation experience. Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. General knowledge of GAAP guidelines and ability to enhance knowledge and apply to a variety of situations. Familiarity with systems and optimizing use of systems to generate data for analyses. Strong Excel skills required. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate. Experience with Oracle ERP a plus. Demonstrated working knowledge of ASC 606 a plus.
