Executive Recruiter - servicing Raleigh and surrounding areas Key Responsibilities Ensure revenue recognition practices comply with ASC 606 and GAAP requirements. Review customer contracts and agreements to determine proper revenue treatment and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and FP&A, to ensure proper accounting treatment of revenue transactions. Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, disclosures, and audit schedules related to revenue recognition. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in revenue accounting operations. Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices related to revenue recognition. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP and revenue recognition systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Why Explore this Role?
