We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Administrator. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing server infrastructure to ensure system performance, security, and reliability across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with enterprise server environments, and a proactive approach to supporting critical business operations. Job Function Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments, including physical and virtual servers. Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter environments. Support enterprise storage systems, including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and Fiber Channel environments. Monitor server, storage and virtualization performance, capacity, availability, and health. Perform server builds, patching, upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management. Manage Active Directory related server services, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and authentication dependencies. Support backup and disaster recovery platforms, including job monitoring, restores, and recovery testing. Troubleshoot server, storage, network and application infrastructure issues. Maintain system documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures. Assist with infrastructure projects, including server migrations, storage upgrades, virtualization improvements and cloud/hybrid initiatives. Ensure systems are configured according to security, compliance and operational standards. Participate in change management, incident response, and after‑hours maintenance windows as needed. Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in server administration, infrastructure support or systems engineering. Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server Administration. Strong experience with VMware, vSphere, ESXi and vCenter. Experience managing enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS technologies. Experience with server hardware, RAID, firmware, drivers and hardware lifecycle management. Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policy, file shares, NTFS permissions and Windows security. Experience with backup and recovery technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity or similar. Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across servers, virtualization, storage, backup and networking. Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting platforms. Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and support business‑critical systems.
