Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Administrator who takes a holistic approach to infrastructure management and system reliability. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across on-premises and cloud environments, strong problem-solving abilities, and the foresight to design scalable, secure, and efficient server solutions. Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimize server infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, VMware). Implement and automate administration tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools. Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve potential issues before they impact operations. Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application performance, security compliance, and infrastructure scalability. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core services. Maintain and update documentation, including build guides, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Lead or assist in system upgrades, patch management, and migration initiatives (on-premise to cloud or hybrid). Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior administrators and support team members. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure operations. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure , PowerShell scripting , Hyper-V virtualization , and VM management . Working knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, routing). Experience managing hybrid or cloud-first infrastructures. Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools (Azure Monitor, System Center, Intune, or similar). Proven track record of driving process improvement, automation, and system reliability. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate , MCSA/MCSE ) preferred. Soft Skills Holistic mindset with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and planning abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
