Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and custom solutions
- Build and manage a centralized ServiceNow portal for IT intake, including incidents, problems, changes, enhancements, project requests, and service catalog items
- Configure out-of-box platform capabilities such as forms, fields, notifications, access controls, reports, and integrations
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using web services, APIs, and middleware technologies
- Lead requirements analysis, technical design, and solution architecture for new features and enhancements
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, portals, and performance analytics components
- Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting; support upgrades, patches, and platform maintenance
- Perform code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends and recommend platform improvements
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including configuration and integrations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- Required: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM, Service Portal, or related modules)
- Plus: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and AJAX
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform tools including:
- Flow Designer
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- UI Actions
- ACLs
- Import Sets & Transform Maps
- Service Portal
- Experience with web services, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and integration frameworks
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, SPM, GRC, Portal)
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration
- Ability to work independently and lead small technical teams
- Experience leading ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or platform transformation projects
- Exposure to advanced platform features such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, or Performance Analytics
- Background in full-stack development or enterprise platform integrations
