Job Description:
Experienced Senior ServiceNow Asset Management Process Consultant to lead and guide our organization through the implementation of ServiceNow's Asset Management modules. Deep expertise in ServiceNow and a proven track record of successfully leading complex IT Asset Management (ITAM) - both Hardware and Software and ITSM projects. This role is critical in ensuring that the ServiceNow implementation meets business objectives, aligns with industry best practices, and delivers measurable value.
Responsibilities:
Implementation Leadership:
o Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow Asset Management modules, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) as well as ITSM.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all asset management-related aspects of the ServiceNow implementation.
o Develop a detailed implementation roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Process Design & Optimization:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document IT Asset Management processes that integrate seamlessly into the ServiceNow platform.
o Ensure that all asset management processes adhere to industry best practices and are aligned with ITIL or other relevant frameworks.
o Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
o Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and other business units to gather requirements and ensure that the ServiceNow implementation meets organizational needs.
o Conduct workshops, training sessions, and regular status meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the implementation process.
o Provide clear and consistent communication to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and any issues that arise.
ServiceNow Configuration & Customization:
o Configure and customize ServiceNow Asset Management modules to meet specific business requirements, including workflows, forms, and reporting.
o Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data migration into the ServiceNow platform, particularly within the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
o Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor the effectiveness of asset management processes post-implementation.
Change Management & Training:
o Develop and execute a change management plan to ensure a smooth transition to the new ServiceNow-based asset management processes.
o Provide training and support to end-users, process owners, and administrators to ensure effective adoption of the ServiceNow platform.
o Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and other documentation to support ongoing process management.
Continuous Improvement:
o Post-implementation, lead efforts to continuously improve asset management processes within ServiceNow, ensuring they evolve with the organization's needs.
o Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend future enhancements to the platform.
Experience:
o Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT Asset Management and ITSM with significant experience in implementing ServiceNow Asset Management solutions.
o Proven track record of leading successful ServiceNow implementations, specifically in the ITAM and ITSM domain.
o Extensive experience in process design, optimization, and management within ITSM frameworks.
