Senior Sigint Systems Engineer Apply
Sequoia has an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to provide System Engineering support to an emerging SIGINT prototype development effort at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. As a SIGINT System Engineer you will be helping the US Army develop and test a prototype system and work with other systems and software engineers to test and refine the system. You will support test and experimentation events. You will train and support soldiers to use the capability and assist them as they test and assess the viability of the system. You will also provide technical expertise for the integration of requirements, design, and technology; as well as develop and incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active TOP SECRET SCI Clearance is required for this position – with a CI Polygraph to be acquired in the future. Sequoia Strategies & Solutions can facilitate getting polygraph for qualified candidates with active TOP SECRET/SCI without a current CI poly.
Candidates without active TS/SCI clearances will not be considered.
Experience Required
- Senior System Engineer: 10 or more years of experience plus a BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Conducting Capabilities-Based Assessments (CBAs) and Capabilities Needs Analyses (CNAs); exercises/warfighting lessons learned; Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTDs), Joint Urgent Operational Needs/Joint Emergent Operational Needs (JUONs/JEON), and other experiments;
- Conducting research and analysis of current and emerging concepts and technologies to define roadmaps for Demonstration including Integration Demonstrations (IDs), Operational Feasibility Demonstrations, Limited Objective Tests, and Military / Interagency Exercises / Field Tests, experimentation and Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Verification Validation and Accreditation (VVA);
- Conducting exercises and demonstrations to potential customers to illustrate the emerging operational capabilities in support of the Army military intelligence mission; and
- Supporting Government in conducting market research, technical demonstrations, experimentations, and user assessments to rapidly prepare capability requirements document
Additional experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in RF collection sensor capabilities
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency spectrum including commercial and military bands
- Ability to integrate disparate system capabilities into a functional collection prototype.
- Development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
