Requirement: Immediately Job type: Full-time / Permanent Reports To: Contracts Director Minimum experience required: 10 years Role and Responsibilities Supervision of the construction on site. Management of all day-to-day onsite activity. Maintaining site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities. Support the project manager in delivering the project to the highest of quality & completed on time, within budget. Manage and motivate site teams. Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards. Implementation of our Safety Management System on site. Implementation of our Quality Management System on site. Suggest appropriate changes that will increase the overall efficiency of the building process without compromising Safety or Quality. Working to an agreed programme and planning future works to avoid delays. Plan, maintain and control the financial administration of all construction work to attain and maintain maximum cost effectiveness. Requisitioning materials required on site in time and to the correct specification. Attend various meetings to ensure the efficient communication of all issues that affect day to day running of the site. Organising daily whiteboard meetings. That duties and responsibilities may vary and are not limited to those listed above. Requirements Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proactive approach to work. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to deliver projects from inception through to completion. Self-motivated, with strong initiative and keen attention to detail. Excellent decision-making, organisational and problem-solving skills. In-depth technical and practical knowledge of construction processes, standards and the regulatory environment. Ability to work effectively within a team and foster positive working relationships.
