About The Role:


Our Bible study apps are utilized by millions of people around the world. Our greatest asset is our exceptional team that helps us fulfill our company mission. We are looking for a Full-stack Software Developer in Mexico who can help us build awesome web products. The ideal candidate will be able to work on front-end UI, develop the supporting back-end services, and have a passion for building elegant solutions.

We are hiring someone who can work well in a diverse environment of different languages and technologies. You should have expertise in responsive web and single-page applications, but you will also have opportunities in the services, data, and architecture overall.


NOTE: This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office) and the applicant must be able to work from our Mexico City offices.


Responsibilities:

  • 6+ years of Software development experience with multiple release cycles.
  • Expert-level software development skills in C# and database technologies.
  • Front-end experience with recent standards in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and React.
  • Experience building mobile and desktop UI for the web.
  • History of providing technical leadership in a team environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Requirements:

  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the full software development process, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Restful API design and implementation.
  • Strong sense of customer empathy and desire to influence the product direction.
  • Prior experience working with remote US-based teams.
