Senior Software Engineer DevOps (Onsite)

Senior Level Software Engineer This is the PERFECT position for a Senior level Software Engineer with a strong background in DevSecOps to join a team in creating, deploying and enhancing our Collins Cert DevOps pipeline solution. This is an onsite position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. What You Will Do Lead the design and implementation of new capabilities for our Cert DevOps pipeline. Optimize existing Cert DevOps pipeline capabilities. Set-up and own sandbox environments for technology incubation and development. Use your organizational skills to keep track of everything. Use your effective communication skills to keep engineering peers, leadership and customers up to date. Use your problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills to support the team mission. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Practical experience in all aspects/phases the software engineering product lifecycle to include all phases of certification. Experience with DevSecOps. Experience with the following programming languages: C/C++, Ada Experience with: GitLab, Git, CMake, MinGW, LynxOS, Coverity, Artifactory, Docker, Vista. Experience and/or knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Robot, Lava. Experience with networking protocols and IT infrastructure. Experience with Agile development life cycle and best practices.
