Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

Responsibilities Architect, design, and develop high-quality AI/ML software solutions to meet project requirements, ensuring scalability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical leads to define and refine technical specifications, taking ownership of design oversight, scoping and project deliverables. Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the subteam. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and uphold best practices, promoting a culture of excellence. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the reliability and stability of our systems. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in SW, cloud engineering or ML engineering with a BS degree (3+ years of experience with an MS degree). Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go). Proven track record of delivering high-impact, production-quality software in the cloud. Experience with ML tools and platforms such as notebooks, VertexAI. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure tools like Terraform, GitHub. Proficiency in Go or Python. Experience in building model training and deployment environments in the cloud. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000 - $210,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
