You design the test approach, automate critical flows, and use performance tests, logs, and quality metrics to guide decisions rather than only executing test cases. You are involved early in discovery and design, asking the right questions, challenging risky assumptions, and making sure quality and user impact are built into each solution while working closely with developers and product as a partner to the team.ResponsibilitiesOwn quality for your product area end‑to‑end, from acceptance criteria and test strategy to monitoring production behaviour and feeding insights back into the teamBuild and maintain TypeScript‑based manual and automated tests (Playwright, Jest, etc) for critical user journeys, APIs, and backend servicesDesign and run performance and load tests (e.g. k6, JMeter) and turn insights into concrete improvements to stability and speedDecide where and how to test (API, backend, UI), focusing on risk, fast feedback, and meaningful coverageUse logs and observability tools (ELK, Sentry, Datadog, etc) to investigate complex issues and identify design or process gapsHelp refine quality processes (definition of done, incident reviews, release practices) and advocate for safer, easier‑to‑evolve solutionsRequirements3+ years in software QA, including both manual and automation experience on web or SaaS products.2+ years writing automated tests in TypeScript (Playwright, Jest or similar)2+ years in load and performance testing (e.g. k6, JMeter).Strong API testing and client–server architecture understanding, able to choose the most effective testing layer.Hands‑on experience with logs and observability systems (ELK, Sentry, Datadog or similar) and cross‑service debugging.An engineering mindset and strong ownership of outcomes, with focus on root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement rather than simple bug reporting.Curiosity and constructive challenge, supported by data‑driven thinking and effective use of observability.Familiarity with AI tools in testing – big plus.Fluent Russian and English at B2/C1 level for daily collaboration in an international team.Company offers The company offers a remote employment, a chance for professional growth and development, and a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.
