Senior Software Quality Engineer

An aerospace technology company is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer II to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of mission‑critical software systems. What you’ll do: Lead software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities. Develop and maintain QMS processes, test plans, and test environments. Track defects, quality metrics, and testing progress. Conduct audits and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and quality teams. Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of experience in software QA, testing, or software engineering. Strong knowledge of SDLC, test planning, audits, and defect management. Experience with Agile environments and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Docker, and GitLab. Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages. Aerospace, defense, embedded systems, or telecom experience. Knowledge of AS9100/AS9115, Six Sigma, and software integration testing.
