Software Design Engineer in Test 3 (SDET 3) Our client, a leading technology innovator in device platforms and cloud-integrated systems, is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Test 3 (SDET 3) to join their team. As an SDET 3, you will be part of the Quality Engineering Department supporting device software, automation, and release engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative communication which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite) Pay Range: $51/hr – $53/hr. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for software validation across devices, builds, and release environments Execute automated testing (functional, regression, smoke, and performance) and analyze results to identify defects and risks Investigate failures, reproduce issues, and provide clear diagnostic insights to engineering teams Collaborate with engineers to enhance automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines Support release validation, regression cycles, and post-release verification to ensure product readiness Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in software testing, automation, or quality engineering Strong experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and drive defect resolution Experience with Android/AOSP or device testing environments (preferred) Benefits Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge device and platform technologies Exposure to advanced automation frameworks and large‑scale testing environments Collaborative work environment with experienced engineering teams Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end product validation and release cycles Competitive pay with potential for long‑term project engagement #J-18808-Ljbffr
