Introduction We are looking for a highly skilled individual responsible for defining and implementing software test procedures, planning, designing, executing, and optimizing software tests and automation scripts. The role also involves incident triage, reproducing, and reporting defects from bug hunt activities or customer reports, and documenting test cases and scenarios. Required Skills & Qualifications 10 years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in testing. Proven experience in web application testing, with a strong focus on cloud-based environments. Experience in software quality (SQA/SQC) testing for cloud and desktop applications. Prior work experience in the automotive industry with embedded integration testing using TDKs. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with REST APIs for backend testing. Experience in application testing for feature parity, functionality, and quality. Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for navigating error logs and cloud buckets. Understanding of CAN signals and vehicle electrical concepts for testing like Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), logic gates. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes. Plan, design, and execute repeatable test cases and automation scripts for various software and applications. Conduct and manage root cause analysis for production incidents and embed preventive actions. Perform various types of testing, including functional, non-functional (performance, security, usability, compatibility), regression, e2e, and API testing.
