Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect with strong healthcare payer domain expertise and a solid software development background. This role requires a highly technical architect who can align enterprise technology strategy with business initiatives, lead architectural design, and drive scalable solutions across complex healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in healthcare payer systems, enterprise architecture, and modern software engineering practices while demonstrating stability and consistency in recent roles.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Strategy

  • Define and communicate enterprise architecture vision across multiple projects and teams
  • Design and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions
  • Align technology strategy with business objectives and healthcare initiatives
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) development and technical solution evaluations
  • Create best practices, standards, and architectural documentation
  • Maintain architectural runway and prioritize technical enablers

Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Provide architectural guidance across development, cloud, integrations, security, and DevOps
  • Mentor engineers, developers, and architects across teams
  • Lead continuous delivery and DevOps-aligned architecture practices
  • Evaluate and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of applications
  • Identify and resolve technical debt, high-risk areas, and performance bottlenecks
  • Define non-functional requirements and technical specifications

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
  • Provide strategic recommendations for enterprise application scaling
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
  • Support solution delivery across customers and internal teams

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder (No third-party involvement)
  • 10+ years of software engineering and/or solution architecture experience
  • Strong background in software development (Java, .NET, C#, or similar)
  • Proven experience in healthcare payer domain (mandatory)
  • Minimum 3+ years consistency in recent roles/projects (no job hoppers)
  • Deep expertise across at least two domains: Cloud, APIs, Security, DevOps, UI, Integrations, Mobile, etc.
  • Strong experience with enterprise application architecture and microservices
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and SAFe methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams
