We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented accountant to join our private club finance team! If you have a positive, outgoing personality and can lead by example, coach newer team members, and care deeply about the accuracy of financials, APPLY TODAY!

 

Senior Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting highly preferred
• 3+ years as a Staff Accountant for a hospitality (private club preferred)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in all phases of corporate accounting and
• Knowledgeable in real estate and hotel accounting
• Experience in integration of computer accounting systems

Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Create and post daily general ledger journal entries
• Enter AP and AR invoices for process and payment
• Review bank accounts and transactions for accuracy
• Deposit all checks directly to various bank accounts
• Post Lockbox, ACH, and Credit Card Event payments
• Prepare check requests and bank transfers as needed
• Review night audit batches and prepare daily cash activity journal entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
