As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for daily financial activity, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing insights. Job Classification Full-time, salary-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Location St. Petersburg, FL, 33716 Workstyle: On-site Travel: 0% Responsibilities Assist in the review and preparation of month-end financial reports, including variance analysis Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile multiple ledger accounts Assist in the development of cash flow forecasts Will work with fixed assets and depreciation Participate in the compilation of audit schedules and work papers Assist in analyzing and reviewing transactions for proper GAAP treatment Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, helping to improve team efficiency and accuracy Develop and maintain internal controls & standard operating procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of professional accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights Benefits 401(k) & 401(k) matching Paid time off Employee Assistance Program Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and development Eligible for participation in health benefits, 401k, and PTO We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
