Job description: Handling of security software and infrastructure (firewalls, anti-malware systems, Security Monitoring). Hardening and securing at scale of Linux and UNIX devices. Incident Response - reporting and resolution of security incidents in the corporate enterprise network. Profile description: Degree in IT preferred, degree in Information Security a plus. Open to lateral entrant with significant experience and skills. 2 - 5 years professional IT experience with security relevance expected. Strong IT security skills founded in broad basic IT knowledge about networks, Operating Systems, design and architecture and overall security safeguards. Knowledge of common security systems (firewalling, XDR/EDR, SIEM), broad basis of general IT skills, ideally some programming / scripting skills such as Powershell, bash or Python. Analytical skills required to drill deep in security challenge. Team players absolutely required - candidate must integrate with the local Malaysia team and play together with the rest of the team internationally.
