We are hiring a highly skilled Senior Stormwater Engineer for our direct client in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with compensation tailored to the candidate's experience and expertise. The role involves leading advanced water resources projects, including stormwater management, floodplain analysis, and resiliency planning, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic work environment.

  • Lead project teams to develop and manage drainage and stormwater management solutions for municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Collaborate with planners, landscape architects, environmental scientists, and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Execute advanced water quality and stormwater management tasks, floodplain analysis, watershed modeling, and resiliency planning.
  • Utilize H&H modeling tools and GIS to produce watershed management plans, feasibility studies, engineering reports, and FEMA Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) applications.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations to align project goals with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a technical expert to guide decision-making and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for small to large-sized projects.
  • Provide timely and high-quality reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Florida or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • 6+ years of experience in water resources, stormwater management, and regulatory compliance.
  • High proficiency in ICPR 4, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
