Senior Structural Project Engineer Apply
Job Description:
- Serve as Engineer of Record for various projects and/or project tasks with a construction value over $75 million.
- Design structural framing and foundation systems.
- Design Prestressed Precast Concrete components and connections.
- Provide technical support throughout all project stages from Conceptual Design through construction.
- Oversee and support the activities of designers and engineering interns.
- Provide leadership on the development of company standards and processes in agreement with company leadership.
- Lead engineering coordination with internal and external clients or trades as well as design team members.
- Process RFIs and Shop Drawings.
- Establish and maintain schedules for assigned projects.
- This role must be able to handle stressful situations, multi-tasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets. Overtime (40+ hours) may be required as needed.
- This position reports to the Chief Project Engineer
Experience:
- You have a four-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- You possess a Professional Engineer license already and have the ability to get licensed in the State of Florida within 1 year.
- You have design experience with concrete and structural steel for commercial construction.
- Experience with prestressed/precast concrete is preferred.
- You have a Minimum (8) years of experience as a design or precast engineer.
- You have general knowledge of building construction methods, building systems, and project costs.
- You possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
- You are an excellent communicator.
- You are a team player and great at collaborating with others.
- Salary commensurate with experience
