JOB TITLE: Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $48/hour

Summary:

• Applies quality principles across design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and research and development.

• Ensures product and process quality for both make and buy products.

• Performs technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.

• Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to establish and maintain quality standards.

• Leads product failure investigations, material review board (MRB) activities, and corrective/preventive actions to ensure compliance and reliability.

• Develops strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance.

• Evaluates quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies.

• Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.

• Conducts product quality tests and statistical analyses to assess nonconforming products and materials.

• Participates in supplier selection and certification programs to uphold quality standards.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (Interim Secret required prior to start)

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent education/experience

• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes or SAP

• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering

• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Experience in Supply Chain Quality Engineering

• Proven ability in defect resolution through effective root cause and corrective action

• Quality MRB certification

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
