Summary:
-
Applies quality principles across design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and research and development.
-
Ensures product and process quality for both make and buy products.
-
Performs technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.

Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to establish and maintain quality standards.

Leads product failure investigations, material review board (MRB) activities, and corrective/preventive actions to ensure compliance and reliability.

Develops strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance.

Evaluates quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies.
-
Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
-
Conducts product quality tests and statistical analyses to assess nonconforming products and materials.

Participates in supplier selection and certification programs to uphold quality standards.
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (Interim Secret required prior to start)

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent education/experience
-
Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes or SAP
-
Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering

Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office applications

Experience in Supply Chain Quality Engineering

Proven ability in defect resolution through effective root cause and corrective action

Quality MRB certification
-
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
-
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
