JOB TITLE: Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Valley Forge, PA
PAY RATE: $48/hour

Summary:

• Applies quality principles across design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and R&D to ensure product and process quality for both make and buy products.

• Performs technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models, designs, drawings, and procedures.

• Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to establish and maintain quality standards.

• Leads product failure investigations, MRB (Material Review Board) activities, and corrective/preventive actions to ensure compliance and reliability.

• Develops strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.

• Evaluates quality systems for deficiencies and implements corrective actions.

• Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.

• Conducts product quality tests and statistical analyses to assess nonconforming products and materials.

• Participates in supplier selection and maintains supplier certification programs.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance (Interim Secret required prior to start).

• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes or SAP.

• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in Supply Chain Quality Engineering.

• Proven ability in defect resolution through effective root cause and corrective action implementation.

• Quality MRB certification.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
