About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Survey Technician with 4+ years of office drafting and design experience in the surveying or civil engineering industry. This is a full-time, office-based position.
We are seeking a Senior Survey Technician with 4+ years of office drafting and design experience in the surveying or civil engineering industry. This is a full-time, office-based position.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage multiple projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Work on a variety of projects including Subdivision Plans, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Existing Conditions Plans, Topographic Surveys, and As-Built drawings.
Prepare project data prior to field work; calculate and export points from CAD for field crews; import and interpret field data; generate 3D surfaces; calculate boundary closures and parcel acreage.
Conduct deed research across multiple counties in Pennsylvania.
Research and interpret zoning and subdivision ordinances across various municipalities.
Attend evening municipal meetings for subdivision or zoning approvals, as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency in CAD, with specific experience using Carlson drafting software.
Strong knowledge of surveying principles, drafting standards, and boundary analysis.
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
