Requirements Must have: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree Proven experience in a Systems Engineering or other engineering capacity within an aerospace program setting Background in supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams throughout various stages of the system lifecycle Familiarity with supporting system integration or manufacturing tasks Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory Responsibilities Provide Systems Engineering support and guidance for space-based and associated subsystems across multiple responsive space programs Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to represent the customer’s interests throughout the complete product lifecycle, including R&D, proposals, design, integration & testing, verification, and sustainment Lead coordination with System Integration and Test engineers to ensure the assembly, integration, and testing of payload and space vehicle subsystems meet all specified requirements Collaborate with SMEs to define and manage hardware/software requirements, ensuring proper flow-down to each subsystem Ensure subsystem verification testing and analysis are conducted accurately, including the modeling of inter-subsystem interfaces Participate in and present findings for internal and external technical reviews such as design and qualification reviews Oversee subsystem and system-level testing, including data evaluations and resolution of anomalies Provide technical and managerial leadership for the program Facilitate technical discussions with customers Demonstrate experience in requirements derivation and tracking utilizing DOORs or equivalent tools, including maintaining a requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM) Exhibit proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices Company At L3Harris, we are committed to attracting and fostering high-performing talent passionate about their work.
