Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.
Salary: $145k-$190k (depending on experience)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex engineering initiatives and provide technical direction across the full system lifecycle. This role involves planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment, while ensuring seamless integration and performance of software, hardware, and network systems within DoD environments.
Essential Functions:
- Drive systems engineering efforts for design, development, integration, and interface analysis.
- Oversee installation, fielding, operation, maintenance, and testing of information processing and related systems.
- Provide expert guidance on system architecture, requirements analysis, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and mission objectives.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Required:
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on software, computer, and/or network systems within the DoD.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and DoD acquisition processes.
Desired:
- Expertise in system integration and interface design.
- Familiarity with information processing systems and cybersecurity considerations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Education:
Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
