Senior Systems Engineer - Level 1

Salary Range: $155,000 - $175,000
Location: On-Site, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland

Overview:
As a Level 1 Senior Systems Engineer, you will support the development, integration, and delivery of production systems while ensuring compatibility with defined system architectures. This position focuses on contributing to the development of system engineering documentation, analyzing requirements, and providing input to design and implementation plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and derive system requirements to ensure compatibility with the defined system architecture (e.g., DoDAF, SOA).
  • Contribute to creating systems engineering documents, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Assist in developing system requirements and allocating them to hardware, software, and personnel components.

Overview:
The Level 2 Senior Systems Engineer leads systems engineering efforts, focusing on the integration of design, technology, and requirements. This role involves more complex responsibilities such as system architecture development, interface definition, and managing technical integrity across all deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of system engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans and Requirements Specifications.
  • Coordinate resolution of cross-discipline issues from design reviews and Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.

  • Provide technical leadership for developing, engineering, interfacing, and testing complex systems.
